Tuition payments are due by the 1st of each month. (September - May), with a $25.00 late charge automatically added to accounts paid after the 5th. All payments are non-refundable. It is your responsibility to keep your account up to date, If your account falls more than 30 days behind, your child may not participate in class
The New Dimensions Dance Company will accept payments by cash, check, or money order. All fees should be payable to "New Dimensions."
There is a $30 fee for checks returned by the bank for any reason. (Payment must be in the form of a money order if check is returned.
Students are expected to attend all classes. There will be no reductions or deductions for missed classes. If a class is missed, the dancer may make it up in a class equal to or lower than the level he/she is currently enrolled in in level.
Due to the recital, make up classes are not permitted in May or June.
Chewing gum, smoking, weapons of any kind, or illeagal drugs are not permitted anywhere inside of the school building.
Every New Dimensions Dance class will have a warm up at the beginning of class, and dancers who miss the warm up could risk injury. Therefore, dancers more than 10 minutes late may be asked to watch class that day to avoid injury. Dancer must received a correction form if asked to sit out of class.

WITHDRAWAL - If withdrawal is necessary, a drop form must be filled out and turned in to the office. If you do not notify our office, your account will remain active, and you are still responsible for payment of tuition regardless of the student's absences. This must be handled through the office, not through the teacher.
Please make sure you are back on time to pick up your child. We are not responsible for your children before or after dance class. All young dancers must be escorted to and from the building.
If a health condition exist which will prevent full participation, please notify New Dimensions Dance Academy in writing as soon as possible.
No child will be allowed to leave the studio with anyone other than a parent unless with written notice from parent.
If you need a parent/teacher conference, please call for an appointment or set it up with the front desk. There is not enough time between classes to adequately handle these discussions.
Please label all your shoes and dance equipment. All lost items will be placed in the lost & found.
A production will be scheduled for the end of the year. The production is very important in developing the dancer's stage presence and performance skills. It is also a lot of fun and offers a reward for all the hard work and preparation of the dancer. More information will be given at a later date.
Attire - Students must wear leotards and tights to all classes as well as the appropriate footwear: Please see dress code for more information.
If you plan to participate in the recital, it is vital that you have good attendance, especially in March, April, & May. If you have a substantial number of absences between March & May, you should not expect to perform the parts of the routine that were taught during your absences, at the production. Good attendance is expected for production participants to be adequately prepared for the performance.
For the comfort and safety of all our students and families, we ask that there be no unattended children in the studio at any time. All children who are not in class must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please plan some quiet activities for children while in the waiting room. Please do not block walkways in the waiting room area. DO NOT PLAY BALL in the studio. Unattended children will be asked to find their parents and stay with them.
If you are not sure classes will be held because of bad weather (hurricane) check the website before you leave home. Information may also be available on the answering machine at the studio. Www.newdimensionsdanceacademy.com
When a student is disrupting class and has not responded to previous warnings, the student will be asked to sit out of class for a period of time determined by the teacher. Student may be asked to leave class for that day.
Students should be dropped off and picked up within 10 minutes of their class time.
The New Dimensions Dance Academy will hold 2 "Parent Observation Weeks". This will give every parent a chance to view all classes that their child is involved in.
